 Gay Heavilin enjoys the rich problem-solving aspect of closing commercial real estate transactions, as well as the caliber of clients and other professionals that she teams with to create successful closings. With 12 years in the title business behind her, her experience and attention to detail make her an expert at keeping transactions moving forward, and has closed transactions up to $41M.
Gay has lived and worked in Austin for almost 30 years, after growing up all over the country. She is an avid cook, gardener and reader, and is involved in CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), RECA (Real Estate Council of Austin) and the Capital Area Food Bank.
Gay’s team includes ace assistant Ben Swofford, who has been working with Gay for more than 5 years. The rest of Gay’s support team includes a title plant staffed by Austin’s finest title examiners, with data covering 8 counties in Central Texas and relationships that allow Independence to handle transactions anywhere in the state.
