 Judy Dempster, Escrow Officer at Independence Title Company’s New Braunfels Office, entered the title industry in 1977. She transitioned to Independence Title in 2005 after gaining years of experience working in both fee attorney offices and direct title operations. Construction loans and behind-the-scenes support are Judy’s specialties. She enjoys the curative work essential to insuring that a transaction closes. Additionally, Judy delights in assisting first-time homebuyers. “I feel I can relate to them and calm their fears,” she says. “I strive to explain the process in a clear, precise manner.”
A graduate of New Braunfels Canyon High School, Judy now lives in Seguin. In her leisure hours she spends time with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. A childhood in the coastal area has left a lasting impression, and Judy loves to be at the bay or on the beach at moonrise—“It’s such a calming experience.” Judy and her husband also like to watch and attend NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) events, and Judy spends additional hours redecorating her home, which she says is always an “ongoing process.”
