 Laura Brookshire is a 38-year veteran of the title business, and enjoys working with the diverse groups of professionals that come together around commercial real estate transactions. She says her secret weapon is the title examination team at Independence: “The title department can make or break a transaction, and I am impressed every day with the experience and knowledge of our examiners.”
Laura is a native Austinite and graduated from the University of Texas. Her hobbies revolve around the Longhorns – she’s an avid fan of college basketball and football.
Laura’s assistant Debbie Dubelbeis has more than 25 years experience in title, and Laura has closed on transactions up to $87M. Laura and Debbie specialize in commercial transactions of all kinds, including City of Austin and Travis County acquisitions.
The rest of Laura’s support team includes a title plant staffed by Austin’s finest title examiners, with data covering 8 counties in Central Texas and relationships that allow Independence to handle transactions anywhere in the state.
