 Escrow Officer Melisa "Mel” Juarez loves being part of the "happy moment” when home buyers close on their new home. She is an experienced Escrow Officer who is comfortable closing resale, relocation, REO/foreclosure, builder, and refi transactions. With eighteen years experience in the industry, Mel enjoys putting the puzzle pieces together to create a smooth closing for all parties involved.
Born at Clark AFB in the Philippines, Mel has traveled the world, experienced many varied cultures, and gained a unique understanding of the commonalities among all people. This experience enables her to adapt to the needs of her customers and make everyone feel comfortable at the closing table. Mel moved to San Antonio from California in 1999 and, in addition to her work in the real estate industry, enjoys involvement in the activities of her community and is an avid supporter of the San Antonio Spurs.
As a part of Independence Title Company’s La Cantera branch, Mel is assisted by a fully staffed closing office, a local title plant with data covering multiple counties throughout Central Texas, and relationships that allow her to handle transactions anywhere in the state.
