 With twelve years in the Title Industry and a background in Real Estate and Construction, Sandy Valencia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients and to Independence Title Company. Sandy loves her job because she spends her days “helping people realize their dream.” As the Branch Manager of ITC’s Schertz office, Sandy processes and closes all kinds of files—residential, commercial, construction, refinance, home equity, farm and ranch, and lot loans. Sandy stands out from other escrow officers because of her friendly disposition, her willingness to help in any way possible, and her “hands-on” approach to working with each of her files. Making time to visit with her agents, answering client questions, and proactively solving problems fill Sandy’s day, and she embraces each of these needs willingly, insuring that agents and their clients are happy with their closings. Sandy fully understands that often the last impression is the lasting impression, so she works hard to make the agents/lenders/builders/developers with whom she works look good!
Sandy is backed up by licensed escrow assistant Mary Sportsman who has been in the business for more than six years. Sandy’s Independence Title support team also includes a title plant staffed by the finest title examiners, with data covering 8 counties in Central Texas and relationships that allow Independence to handle transactions anywhere in the state. Independence Title Company is underwritten by every major national underwriter and has more than 20 closing offices stretching from Georgetown to San Antonio.
In her free time, Sandy enjoys boating, entertaining, and getting together with friends. She has two daughters who also play a major role in her life.
