 Sherri Riedel enjoys the variety of interesting people she gets to meet and the constant challenges of each real estate transaction she has the opportunity to close. According to Sherri, the real estate industry is “never boring, and I am always learning and growing as a person—both professionally and personally.”
A friendly, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to all personality types enable Sherri to create a sense of trust and comfort quickly, especially at the closing table. As Branch Manager of Independence Title Company’s New Braunfels office, Sherri is always willing to go that extra step to find a workable solution to each problem and/or challenge faced. She has worked in the title business since 1991, and she is supported by an outstanding team including Escrow Officers Judy Dempster and Debbie Kirkland, and Escrow Support/Assistant Katie Johnston. Judy has 30 years experience in the title, legal, and banking industries; Debbie has established herself in the area of land developments and lot sales, and Katie has been in the title industry for almost 15 years, working in both escrow and policy production. The team additionally has experience in mortgage lending and banking.
Sherri and her staff are further supported by a local title plant staffed with the finest title examiners and data covering 8 counties in Central Texas. Independence Title is underwritten by every major national underwriter, with more than 20 closing offices stretching from Georgetown to San Antonio, and relationships that allow Independence to handle transactions anywhere in the state.
Residing in Marion, TX, with her husband and two highly-involved, very talented children, Jennifer and Sean, Sherri is an active supporter of the New Braunfels community, the real-estate community, and the Marion School District. Sherri also serves as a volunteer and advisor to the Comal County Habitat for Humanity program, guiding participating families in the closing process, a critical part of home ownership.
